    Yes. The drink path is only 18/8 stainless steel + medicalgrade silicone. No liquid touches plastic.

    Is stainless steel better than plastic for health?

    Stainless steel is inert and nonporous. It doesn’t carry detergents or shed microplastics the way plastic can under heat and wear. Using it in the drink path reduces avoidable exposure.

    Why does taste matter if this is about health?

    Taste is your trigger — if you can taste plastic or detergent, that’s a sign to change materials. The bigger win is removing plastic from the sip itself.

    Will it leak in my bag?

    The oneway valve blocks drips when the cup is tipped. For transport, flip the travel cap closed for extra protection.
